Christmas is my favourite time of the year and giving gifts is the nicest feeling. What I like to do is always get something that’s either useful if a treat family/friends wouldn’t buy for themselves.
I’ve taken so much inspiration from bloggers sharing ideal gifts that I wanted to share my own gift guide of things I think people would love.
Dermalogica body collection
Dermalogica recently launched a beautiful new body collection and they kindly sent me their cleanse and hydrate body wash and body hydrating cream to try out.
The conditioning body wash is set to invigorate and awaken the senses with key ingredients including French rosemary and Chinese eucalyptus aromatic oils. Then following with the body hydrating cream to hydrate, smooth and tone with aromatic orange oil and Chinese green tea to soothe and soften skin. Shop here.
I really love Joules products from Bretons to knitwear and they always have a gorgeous range of scarves to suit every taste and budget. This year we’ve purchased a few cosy winter ones for different family members. Shop here.
Noted Fashion Jewellery
Noted have a beautiful range of jewellery, clothing and accessories and as well as their store in Herefordshire, they sell their products on their website with free delivery and amazing gift wrapping. Whether it’s a gift for a friend (or yourself!) you won’t be disappointed. The earrings are my absolute favourite. Shop here.
The White Company Socks
I adore everything from The White Company including candles and clothing for kids but their cosy bed socks are really perfect for every lucky lady. Huge thumbs up from me and varying options for different budgets. Shop here.
I’ve recently purchased Primark Pj’s and been so impressed with their grey flannel range. They feel so much more expensive and wash well too!
The gift that keeps on giving – we absolutely love music in our home and have a Spotify membership that is always playing. From charts to podcasts and your own playlists, it’s absolutely brilliant and such a bargain at £10 per month for a limitless musical library. Shop here.
Hotel Chocolat Chocolates
Always Ben’s favourite, Hotel Chocolat are the perfect gift for every occasion and with a price point for every budget. Shop here.
Both Ben and I have a commute to work and rely on travel cups to keep our drinks hot. We both use Nespresso cups at the moment but we’ve had those YEARS so ready to replace them. We’ve been looking at Frank Green ones and they are really cool and in lots of quirky colours. Shop here.
Ben is a big fan of Boss and Chanel fragrances and tends to wear a Paul Smith one day to day. John Lewis and Boots often have some amazing deals. Jo Malone also sell beautiful male colognes in gorgeous scents forked of a splurge. Their fragrances always last really well on the skin too.
The most comfortable trainers around. I have a pair and this year I’ve ordered Ben some too. Just a pair to get for Harry and then we are the Vans family! Shop here.
First Christmas accessories
I work for Mamas & Papas so I luckily get to look at beautiful baby wear every day but this year we really do have some adorable clothing and accessories for children. Lots of My 1st Christmas baubles, Santa sacks and stockings and many can be personalised too. Shop here.
A big favourite in our hours, it takes a bit of faffing to set up but it is worth it to create the little sets and Harry gets a great deal of play from it.
Harry LOVES our Ikea play kitchen. He’s had it since he was really little but with the play he gets from it, it’s payed for itself. As with most things from Ikea, amazing quality (£60!), looks great and brilliant value! Shop here.
The never ending toy! Harry has hours of fun with Lego. He has a very active imagination so builds all sorts. I think Lego is an amazing gift for boys and girls.
We have absolutely hundreds of books in our house from The Gruffalo and Stick Man to Oi Dog and The Lion Inside. Books that will grow with your little one and feed their imaginations.
For the Home
And a few gift ideas for couples or for the home:
- The White Company candles – who doesn’t love a beautiful candle!
- Sipsmith Gin – Gin is always a wise choice and the Sipsmith Lemon Drizzle Gin is amazing.
- Nespresso coffee maker – Bit of a splurge gift but an item we couldn’t live without in our house!
- Bloom & Wild – Whether it be beautiful blooms, succulents or mini Christmas trees, a gift from Bloom & Wild is always a welcome one! I’m a Bloom & Wild partner so to get £10 off your first order click HERE. #letterboxflowers
- Alexa – Our best friend, “Alexa tell me a joke” she’s our little pal!
These are just a few ideas from some of my favourite brands.
I have worked with Bloom and Wild, Noted and Dermalogica on a gifted basis but I really do love their products.
