Easter Baking with VonShef

When we lived at our old house we were really lucky and had a well proportioned kitchen.

We used to spend a lot of time cooking and baking which was a real hobby but when we moved into this house, our kitchen was teeny tiny until we decided to extend.

All baking bowls and equipment went into boxes in the loft until we had the space to be able to bake again. Fast forward to now and we finally have our dream kitchen! The only thing we didn’t have was a good mixer (our old one got damaged in the move)

VonShef came to the rescue and kindly gifted us an electric stand mixer. We went for the cream to tone in nicely with the new kitchen.

It’s a fancy piece of kit – 8 speed settings & a pulse function, whatever best suits your recipe. It includes a stainless steel dough hook, beater and balloon whisk and is ideal for baking bread, cakes or making desserts.

My favourite thing about the machine is the large 4.5L stainless steel bowl but especially the bowl splashguard which is amazing for minimising mess when using the attachments.

It’s also really super handy that the steel attachments are all dishwasher safe so it makes for a quick clean up!

The VonShef mixer arrived this week, perfect for some Easter baking so we got cracking (like the pun there!) on some chocolate Easter buns.

We used a Mary Berry recipe and it turned out really well. The machine made short work of mixing and made a family baking afternoon super easy!

If you are looking for an electric stand mixer that does the job and looks the part, look no further!

This is our VonShef mixer but they also do a 1400 watt version and options in red and black too.

I was kindly gifted the mixer by VonShef, but as always all views and opinions are my own.
