It’s been a little while since I’ve done a monthly favourites but I have a few things I’ve either purchased or been gifted this month that I wanted to share with you.
Whilst we are still finishing off the house, we are on a tight budget so everything below has this in mind!
A lot of parents I’ve met say the same thing – there’s just not as much choice for boys clothes as girls clothes. I had been looking for an interactive t-shirt for Harry as he loves reversible sequins but you tend to only find them in girls styles. Step forward H&M who have nailed it with interactive tops this season – from Lego men to sharks and dinosaurs, they have them all.
Harry is a happy bunny and I’m happy he’s quick to get dressed in a morning as he see the top as something he chose! Promoting independence right there.

The lovely ladies at Chidora got in touch as they are a local business making beautiful hats and they wanted to gift one to me.
I chose a chunky cream bobble hat which is totally perfect with any outfit and really cosy. But the clever thing about Chidora hats is how they are put together. The hats are all silk lined, designed to protect your hair.
The silk lining they stitch into each Chidora hat acts as a protective barrier from the wool. It helps keep the moisture in your hair and out of your hat, it prevents your strands tangling with the wool, and they look great… all in all, they love your hair! I’ve found my hair to have zero static when I wear this too – no unfortunate hat hair here!

VonHaus Cordless Stick Vacuum
I was kindly gifted the VonHaus Cordless Stick Vacuum cleaner to try as part of the VonHaus ‘14 days to a tidy home’ challenge. I think the VonHaus team took pity on me knowing our carpets would be destroyed from all the building work!
This is a really handy vacuum cleaner, perfect for vacuuming the stairs, car interiors and whizzing round the house without plugging in. The battery life is really good too. A bargain for £60 and saves me using the upright vacuum cleaner all the time.

Just Sheepskin Slippers
I know I know, I sound about 90 but honestly these slippers give me a warm fuzzy feeling! I picked them up for a bargain £25 in TK Maxx and they are so cosy. Definitely worth popping in for a nosy if you are looking for a cosy pair.

Another H&M bargain find, these tortoiseshell earrings are fantastic for £3.99 and perfect for work or jazzing up a weekend outfit. I’ve worn them with casual weekend clothes and had lots of compliments so a definite bargain.
I can’t find them on the website but I bought them in the H&M Meadowhall store.
Hope you’ve enjoyed my 5 February Favourites and let me know if you have any questions about any of the products featured.
